Diamonds Sparkle

1979 AQHA Superhorse · Dam of Shining Spark · 1996
Diamonds Sparkle — the 1979 AQHA Superhorse — was already a legend when Carol Rose bred her to Genuine Doc in the late 1980s, not knowing what would result. The foal was Shining Spark, who became an NRHA $4M Sire, NRHA HOF inductee (2011), and the foundation of Carol Rose Quarter Horses. Of Diamonds Sparkle's 18 foals, 15 performers earned nearly $450,000. She joined the AQHA Hall of Fame in 2007 and the NRHA Hall of Fame in 1996 — one of the most decorated mares in western horse history.
